Brandon Kiebles Wheaton Academy Athlete Class Of 2025 5'10 170
Brandon Kiebles how does it feel to be 3-0? It feels amazing, the team as a whole has worked extremely hard all off-season and seeing our hard work on the field and off working to fruition like we expected is fun to be a part of. What does football mean to you? Football means everything to me. Playing football going on 10 years now has allowed me to grow in many aspects of my life. The on field success is amazing and that’s what you play for but it has also shaped me into a better man and a better follower of Christ. What should college coaches know about you? I would love college coaches to know that I work hard and I am a team player, I will do anything that is needed to help the team win. I am coachable, I love to be coached and I think if I’m not being pushed it’s because I’m not giving the coaches a reason to care too, which is a problem. And lastly, I think I’m a pretty versatile football player!
What has been your favorite memory so far this season?
I think my two-touchdown game against St Charles East has to be up there. It was such a fun game and such a fun win. We won 43-21 and playing a big role in that game was so much fun.
What goals do you have for yourself rest of the season?
I haven’t thought about my personal goals too much but I would like to have 80 total tackles on defense and 12 touchdowns on offense. But more broadly just be able to have at least 1 or more impactful plays that play a big part in the outcome of each game.
What is your go to pregame meal?
I usually go home right after school and eat something light like maybe a small/medium size chicken and rice bowl. It’s got protein in it which is always good, and I like to have carbs right before a game for energy. And that is my usual meal.
If you were an AD, what game would you like to schedule against Wheaton Academy? I would love to schedule a bigger school that would attract attention to our program. Win, lose, or draw I would love to play a team like IC because in years past we have played them and although recently it wasn’t the best outcome for us it allowed us to play competitive football, and create attention for our program.
