Michael Tringali how was your junior season? Well, it didn't start off the greatest as I was in recovery from my ACL tear the season before. But it ended off amazing as I started in my last game against Marist. But I'm happy I got to be on the field with my seniors one last time What does football mean to you? Everything... I've never imagined myself doing anything but playing the game. All I think about is my future in football and making a name for myself. Football is the one thing helping me stay focused in my life as it hasn't been the best year to me. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches need to know that I have a different mindset from these other players. I'm willing to do anything to better myself, and my teammates. I play for my team and not myself and aspire for my teammates to do great as I do for myself. I wouldn't be anything without them. What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason? Getting to the ball faster. During the play I bounce too much, and it takes time off myself to get to the ball. I need to move forward and work on faster movement to get where I need to be. What do you like about playing on the defense? If I'm going to be honest. I like to hurt people on the opposite side of the ball. Not saying I always go for the “kill shot” but putting hits on people to make them remember my number gives me all the adrenaline in the world. I love the feel of making everyone go silent to my tackles, I'm a mean person on the field and I love to be known for it. How does South Elgin look for the upcoming season? We are getting better and better every day in the weight room. my team is going to be fast and aggressive this year and everyone will know it from the way we play. I’m excited this year with these boys. Leading them out is going to be one of the best things I'll ever experience.
