Talking With Salt Fork Linebacker Brayden Maskel Class Of 2023 - Top Recruit In Illinois

So, in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know, but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. This is one of the many reasons why Deep Dish Football is respected in the IHSA. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell

Brayden Maskel Salt Fork LB/ATH Class Of 2023 6'2 170

Brayden Maskel how was your senior season? My senior season was good I played really well and had a great team and made a lot of memories. What does football mean to you? Football means a lot to me it’s been my number 1 sport since I was 6 years old, and it’s been a way of bonding with my dad and showing people I can do what I put my mind to. What schools have you talked to so far? I have talked to Chicago Concordia and Aurora University What should college coaches know about you? Even though I may be undersized for my position. I’ve always been able to find a way to make tackles and help my team out, and that I’m a good leader that people naturally follow What do you like about playing on the defense? I really love the reactionary aspect of not knowing what’s coming. Like when you're on offense and having to react and adjust to what they do, and I also like tackling a lot. Who on Salt Fork had a breakout season this season? Ethan Davis had himself a nice season after coming off a torn acl he was one of our top rushers on offense and had the second most tackles on the team. Another one is Hayden Prunkard he was coming back from an ACL injury as well and was one of our tps defensive linemen

What do incoming players to the Salt Fork team need to know about the program? They need to know how physical we like to be, and that’s how we win games is just being physical and not getting pushed around.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting
