Danny Nuccio Plainfield North Class of 2021 DB/LB 6'1 208
Danny Nuccio how was your 2019 season?
The 2019 season was great! The team accomplished many of the goals we put forth in the beginning of the year, and making the playoffs was a big one. Going out in the first round was a bummer but that’s going to fuel our fire in the upcoming 2021 season. We have unfinished business!
What does football mean to you?
Football means a lot to me because it offers the opportunity to play the game I love with my closest friends; who have become my brothers. Together, we get to work towards a common goal.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I have been working on strength and speed. Specifically, hip mobility and upper body strength.
What schools have you talked to so far?
I have talked to UW Whitewater, Illinois Wesleyan, Valpo, NIU, Yale, Augustana, U Indy, Loras, North Park, and Knox College.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know I am an extremely hard worker, very coachable and a leader both on and off the field.
How does this Plainfield North squad look for 2021?
The Squad is looking great this year. We have a very experienced defense with 7 returning starters. The juniors bring size, speed and success, going 9-0 their sophomore season. We have a great coaching staff and are very excited about our new OC, Coach Paul Murphy.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the field?
My strongest trait on the field is my passion and love for the game along with the high energy I bring to every game and practice.
