Connor Bright WR Plainfield East Class of 2021 6'5 175
Connor Bright how was your 2019 season?
It went really well for myself and my team we made the playoffs and won our conference. It was awesome to see Coach Kunz and how well him and the coaching staff did. Unfortunately the season didn’t end the way we wanted. We lost to Warren Township in the first round but there’s progress to be made and I think we’ll have a great year in the spring.
What schools have you talked to so far?
Saginaw Valley State, Northern State, NIU, Upper Iowa, Quincy University, Indiana Wesleyan, Harding University, Illinois Wesleyan, Fordham University, Northern Michigan, Georgetown, Indiana State
What should college coaches know about you?
That I’m a hard worker and if they take a chance on me I won’t let them regret it. I’m not going to let anyone tell me that I can’t do something. I love football and I’ll give it everything I got.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My height and my routes. I’ve been working really hard on running crisp routes and catching the ball with my hands and not my body.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? I’ve been working on my routes and my weight. I’ve been lifting as much as I can and it’s been a big goal of mine to gain a good amount of weight. I’ve also been going to run routes and work on the basics and the small details.
