Anthony Kuceba how was your 2019 season?
The season was good. Our team made it to the second round of play-offs being part of the Chicago Catholic League. I was a starting Wide Receiver on varsity my sophomore year.
How has your offseason been so far?
My offseason has been very productive. I have been training with J.R. and Mike Niklos at Acceleration Sports Performance to increase my speed, agility, and strength. I have been going to Throw It Deep to improve my receiving skills and I have also been working on my DB skills with one on one training. I was fortunate enough to participate in the Midwest Boom Academy in the fall, and I’m currently playing on the Midwest Boom National Team.
What does football mean to you?
Football means everything to me. Football has made me the person that I am today. It has built my character, developed my mental toughness, and has allowed me to become a leader both on and off the field.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I have put a huge focus on my strength, speed, and size this offseason. I have put on over 30lbs. and have become significantly faster and stronger.
What should college coaches know about you?
College coaches should know that I’m a very serious and successful student. I have an unbelievable work ethic, I am an extremely dedicated player, I will outwork anyone on the field, I have the confidence to make plays, and I will do anything for my team.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My strongest traits are my work ethic, my endurance, and my understanding of the game. I give 110% every play and never give up.
What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season?
I want us to win all of our games this season and I would like to be All-Conference in the CCL.
