Dawson Rull how was your junior season?
It was good, I got off blocks faster and read offensive lines better than sophomore year. I didn’t get to finish my junior season was the only bad part.
What does football mean to you?
Football to me is a second family I get to be with 6 days a week. Football has made me a more mentally tough and confident person. I wouldn’t be the same person without it.
What do you like about playing on the line?
I like that I get to line up against the same guy for the whole game and compete to see who wants to win more.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I think my strongest trait is never stop going 100% because I don’t want to have any regrets.
What part of your game are your working on in the offseason?
Right now, I’m working on rehabbing my knee, losing weight, and getting my upper body strong.
How does Edwardsville look for the upcoming season?
I think that we will be pretty good, we’ve got a pretty young team, so we’ve got a lot of work to do and lots of maturing to be done as well.
