Ryan Mohler Neuqua Valley QB Class Of 2024 6'3 185
Ryan Mohler how is your season going for you so far? the seasons been going great! We’re heading into the playoffs and looking to make a deep run in the playoff What does football mean to you? Football for me is a chance to be on a team and work together for a common goal. I’ve been playing since 1st grade and grown up watching my own high school. Getting the opportunity to play on the team I watched as a kid is awesome! The game of football has taught me so much and i have enjoyed every game practice and moment. I’ve played with some of my teammates my whole life and they are like family to me. What do you like about playing QB? I enjoy the leadership role of a QB. I like the ability to be able to read and understand the defenses. I get to make decisions that help our team move the ball down the field. It’s awesome to be able to get the ball to teammates and watch them make plays.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? One of my strongest traits as a player is being able to read and understand defenses. It helps me make the right decision to slow down the game. I’m also able to make adjustments even after something breaks down in a play. Between every offensive possession I feel like i’m able to bring the team together, so we play as one. What should college coaches know about you? I love the sport of football. I’m a 2-sport athlete, football and wrestling, I understand the importance of hard work, the need to constantly improve, sacrifice, and overcoming adversity. I’m a student of the game who loves to compete. My goal is to have the opportunity to play football in college!
Now you are a QB, but you wrestle... We don't see a lot of that in football. What do you like about wrestling?
The sport of wrestling is unlike anything else! Wrestling comes with the greatest highs and the greatest lows. The wins and losses are dependent on only me. Wrestling has taught me many skills that help me out on the field like mental toughness and competitiveness.
As much as I love wrestling nothing beats winning as a team!
What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason? In the off-season I plan to continue to work on my throwing mechanics with Throw It Deep. I will also be working on my athleticism with Acceleration. I reach out to each and every coach I can to continue to improve my game.
