Declan Winger how was your sophomore season?
Couldn’t have asked for anything better we went 9-0 and I was called up to help on scout team for varsity which gave me many opportunities to improve for longer than my regular season
What does football mean to you?
Football means everything to me. It helps me tremendously off the field and teaches me life lessons. It has helped me improve my accountability
What should college coaches know about you?
I am a student of the game but I’m a student first. I am very dedicated to making myself better and the people around me.
What do you like about playing in the trenches?
It clears my mind. I love to pull even though I am a tackle. I am amazed by 300 pound move the way they do. It’s the motor of our team and I belong on the line
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I am very coachable and play with grit
What part of your game do you plan on working on in the offseason?
I am working hard this offseason on becoming lethal with my feet. I think I have many areas to improve on but this offseason I’m putting an emphasis on footwork.
