Mason Strader Libertyville Athlete Class Of 2025 6'0 175
Mason Strader how does it feel to be 2-0? It feels great, my teammates and I put in a lot of work in the offseason and in the summer. It’s extremely satisfying to see it all pay off during these first two weeks. Due to spending all this time in the weight room together, our team chemistry is great. How good can this Libertyville program be? I think we can be extremely good this season, and for many seasons to come. Our coaching is great. The defense and offense are clicking. But there are still some improvements to be made going into conference these next few weeks. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I feel that my strongest trait is my tackling. I believe that my strength and my speed along with my ability to read the defense makes me a great tackler. Also, my position on the defense allows me to demonstrate this ability extremely well.
What do you like about playing on the defense?
The thing I like the most about playing defense is always having an opportunity to make a play on the ball, either in coverage or to come up and make a tackle.
What game are most excited for this remaining season?
I am looking forward to all of our remaining conference games, especially the home ones. We have some very supportive fans and nothing feels better then a win at home.
What should college coaches know about you? I am an extremely hard worker and love to compete in all aspects of the game, I am also a extremely hard worker in the classroom with a 4.15 gpa.
