Nico LoCoco Lemont LB/ATH Class of 2025 5'9 175
Nico Lococo how was your freshmen season? Our season went well. Great experience playing my first year of high school football at Lemont. What was one of your best memories last season? Our home game on a Thursday night under the lights against Lockport with the home crowd, including many of the youth football players, there to cheer us on. The excitement of the win brought us together more as a family and we really began clicking as a team What does football mean to you? Football is more than just a game to me. It’s a sport you start to play to have fun, but it develops into so much more. Playing side by side with your friends that you go through thick and thin with. The discipline and teamwork required teach you life lessons. The coaches instill these lessons and discipline which relates to the classroom and in life. What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason? My off-season has consisted of strength training while focusing on explosiveness along with speed, agility, and field work. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Strength and the ability to attack the ball. What position do you feel most comfortable at? Inside Linebacker
What goals do you have for yourself this season? To be a solid teammate, leading by example. To improve off of last season. To apply off-season work to the field, and to have a successful and fun season as a team.
