Tomele Staples how was your Spring Season? I think my spring season went pretty well. After struggling to build momentum in our first game, I came out the next 5 weeks and threw 9 tds on a run heavy team. What does football mean to you? Football means a lot to me for many different reasons. But my main reason is using football to try and receive a full scholarship to repay my parents for everything they’ve done for me growing up. What should college coaches know about you? College coaches should know that I am a leader by example, I have a high football iq and the ability to adjust and adapt when things aren’t going too well. Also academics have never been a problem for me, my gpa has always been a 3.7 or higher. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? Reading the defense in order to see things unfold before they happen. What goals do you have for yourself this season? Goals I have are taking my team on a deep playoff run, hopefully a state title and Breaking several of my school’s football records. Also a goal of mine is to make all state. While pursuing all state even if I was not to get it, smaller goals like going all conference and all area would come.
