Dominic DiLeonardi how was your freshmen season? My freshman season was very successful! We had a solid season finishing 6-3, I see a lot of potential in our 2026 Geneva class. As one of the captains, I enjoyed the opportunity to lead the team and continue grow as a leader! What does football mean to you? Football has been a big part of my life, I have been playing since i was 5 and have loved it ever since. Football is full of high and low moments and teaches you leadership, resilience, character and teamwork. What should college coaches know about you? A few things college coaches should know about me is that I have big play speed and can torch pursuit angles when I sees daylight and get to the sideline. I have fantastic vision, elusiveness and quickness on the field and able to turn negative looking rushes into a positive gain.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I have been working on my strength and speed by doing track and working out. Track has been great during the offseason helping me continue to get faster for the next season.
How is your track season going?
Very well, We are almost done we have sectionals next week and then state! I’ve enjoyed it and love being with our varsity football players on the track team. I run the 4x1, 100, 4x2 and 200, I run a 11.56 100m and a 23.7 200m.
What goals do you have for yourself upcoming season?
Some of my goals for this upcoming season are playing on varsity as a sophomore, beat my stats from the previous year, continue to be a leader for our team and work as hard as I can to have another successful season.
Who is faster you or your brother? Definitely me ha-ha, I’ve always been faster than him and he still can’t except his little brother being faster than him till this day!
