Eli Shaw how was your 2019 season?
It was a good season personally being my first starting on varsity as a sophomore it was certainly nerve wracking at first but it ended up being a good year I ended up learning and growing a lot
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I would like for them to know how strong my work ethic is weather it’s on the field, in the gym, and in the class. For as long as I can remember that’s been one of my parents number one values they instilled in me.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
This offseason I’ve really been focusing on bulking up and gaining strength.
What does football mean to you?
I’ve been playing football for as long as I can remember, the sport of football is not only a passion for me but it has taught me the skills needed to be successful in life. It has taught me discipline and to remain focused on my task, losses on the field obviously hurt but they are definitely a good character builder.
What position do you feel most comfortable in?
I’ve played nearly every position on the field and I feel comfortable just about anywhere, but I think linebacker is the position that best suits my talents and is definitely where I feel most comfortable. But the most important thing to me is being in a position that will allow me to help my team the most.
How does Centralia look for 2021?
Like everyone else COVID has definitely been hard on us but we have some strong talent returning this year, some promising young guys, and some new coaches. I’m expecting big things for us this year.
