Gage Homola how was your first game back? The first game back was definitely an exhilarating experience. We learned a lot about the team and what we excel at and what we need work on. It definitely provided an interesting look into the Hampshire Football 2022 season. What does football mean to you? Football is an opportunity for me to glorify God through my talents and abilities. It’s a way to release all tension and stress built up through the week upon my opponents. And it allows for me to build a community with my teammates and all of the fans supporting me. What should college coaches know about you? I’m a player who’s willing to give 110% for his team every game, practice, and play. I love contact and I’m willing to collide with anyone. I am constantly looking for an opportunity to be a leader, whether through actions or motivational talks. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My strongest trait on the football field is using my physicality to lead my teammates to better themselves alongside me What game are you most excited about this upcoming season? Well, the energy at homecoming games is always a different feeling, and prairie ridge should be a challenging and physical game, so definitely our game against prairie ridge
What are your goals for the rest of the season? My goals for the rest of the season include propelling my team into the playoffs, leading the team both on and off the field, and enjoying the sport I’ve grown to love with teammates I’ve built strong relationships with.
