Fun to be back at Carmel for summer camp season tour. Coach McKie and Staff have youth movement and talent that people have been talking about for months since the 2021 season ended. Coach McKie enthusiasm and energy help this youthful team get ready for future championships shots. Carmel's strength is its athleticism and size, but the inexperience is a huge downplay for this Corsair team. When they kick off the season they got to win early and often. Leadership will be key for this team's success this season. Also, not to sound cliche but a belief in oneself will be huge for this team. We have seen to many talented teams get behind because they lost the mental side of the game. I have no doubt that Coach McKie and staff will have this team ready for August. Good luck to Carmel this season... the IHSA needs Carmel back in the playoffs.

Carmel has a shot to start 4-0 this season. I really see the first game Antioch as being a huge tempo game for the Corsairs. Weeks 2 & 5 will be huge for Carmel this season. They need to start the season strong that is key for a young team.
