Awesome to be back at Lake Zurich and see Coach Planz & Staff along with his players. Coach Planz does a great job with practice, and the kids listen and make a quick practice. One of the more efficient practices that I have seen in my past years as Publisher. Getting a 5-4 record last season and getting a horrible pairing with Batavia didn't help. Lake Zurich has a task of getting two big games of Fremd and Start Charles North to kickoff the season. They must get a win at least against Lake Forest, Libertyville, or Warren Township this season. Looking at their defense to be key for their success this season in the tough offensive explosive North Suburban. Addition of Ashton Gondeck will be huge for the Bears this season along with upcoming star sophomore class.

Lake Zurich needs to get to 3 wins after 4 weeks. I really see St. Charles North as being a huge tempo game for the Bears. Weeks 6&7 will be huge for Lake Zurich and a playoff clincher potential for the Bears in the 2022 season.
