Very impressed with the size of the Jacobs athletes and their control of the passing game with that style of play. Coach Zim and his staff do a wonderful job of utilizing their strengths on the field. Really think Jacobs can surprise some people this season and I like they won their 2 last games of the season (setting up the Fall season). Keep a close eye on the QB situation, I really think that could be key for this upcoming season. This Jacobs defense could be a real surprise this season with their athletic linebackers and secondary. They got undersized linemen but these are type of linemen that can give bigger linemen a huge problem in the trenches. Love their scout defense - much respect to those guys working hard to make their team better on the offensive side of the ball. Big shoutout as well to the big linemen sprinting their butts off end practice cardio. Love the fact that Jacobs makes the freshmen and sophomore practice fun for the kids. Let these kids develop a love for the game. Fox Valley is a tough conference no doubt about it and with very weird spring season with surprises. Jacobs could be a surprise this Fall in the Northern Illinois region.

Crystal Lake South will be Jacobs tempo game for the 2021 season, that will set the season. The must win game for Jacobs is every game (yes I know very coach-like) but the big game for them will be Hampshire a rising team in the Fox Valley.
