So this is an intriguing matchup in my eyes for the 4A first round. We got ourselves an on & off Coal City team that has lost tough games to some major teams this season but finished strong with a win again Streator. Going against a huge dark horse of a 4A team in Wheaton Academy with a 7-2 record and a dynamic offense. You would think that this is automatic blowout but not so fast people. If Coal City can find a way to turn it on and limit that offense they could be a serious team in 4A. This will be a huge test for Wheaton Academy facing a highly disciplined team in Coal City. Key matchup for me is how does Wheaton Academy defense stop that Coaler offense. This could prove to be a big time matchup in the 4A Class.

Wheaton Academy looked great this season and a lot of people had them at were they are right now. They fought a good game with ICCP but lost a tough one. Wheaton Academy starts and ends with David Dorn no doubt about it.
