Deep Dish Football GOTW Week 7 2021 : Johnston City & What You Need To Know
Well first we look at Johnston City and I got to say they pretty much did what people thought what they were going to do. The only outcome I didn't see coming was that loss to Nashville and a win against Fairfield. Johnston City is in good shape to win the Black Diamond Conference but need to beat a tough Sesser-Valier team. After SVHS , I really see that Johnston City vs Carmi-White game being an absolute top game in the state of Illinois for Week 8. Johnston City biggest weapon is their overall athleticism and not just Austin Brown its a lot of these players that have great size and speed. Corbin Hickey is a leading reciever in the Black Diamond conference this season along with Brown. Heath Neibch is a leading passer in the Black Diamond Conference as well. Johnston City's defensive line is going to be the X-Factor for Friday night against that Double Wing offense.
