Gabriel Danguilan welcome back... How is your season going so far?
Thank you, my season is going great. My team has already managed to secure a playoff spot and we’re looking forward to making a deep run this year.
What has been your favorite memory so far this season?
My favorite memory so far is definitely running out of the tunnel first game of the season. The energy in the stadium was electrifying.
What game do you believe you had your best performance at so far in the season?
Offensively I believe Streamwood was my best performance so far. Michael Champagne (QB) was putting the ball in the perfect spots that game enabling me to make a play on the ball and come down with 2 touchdowns. Defensively was for sure South Elgin. I was able to obtain a pick and some huge hits that really impacted the momentum of the game.
What do you see in this Glenbard East squad for Friday night?
The team and I know they’re going to show up and fight. We’re looking forward to a good game and see ourselves coming out with a win.
Who on Glenbard South is having a breakout season?
Jalen Brown is having the biggest breakout season i’ve ever seen. His build and speed make him a dangerous player. He’s been able to get 1021 yards so far and 15 touchdowns.
Who is the funniest coach on Glenbard South? Easy answer, Coach Monken. He always has jokes and is always trying to brighten the mood. Great coach.
