John Kemp how was your junior season?
My Junior year season was great. I was named 1st Team All Conference Defensive Back for the CCL-ESCC on a team that only gave up 7.8 PPG. My team finished with a record of 9-2 and won the first play off game in program history.
What does football mean to you?
Football is an opportunity to compete and receive an education that will lay the platform for the rest of my life.

What should college coaches know about you?
Colleges should know I'm a top DB in my state and in the class of 2023. I’m the hardest worker in the room, extremely dedicated to bettering myself, and put many hours into my craft every week. I’m an extremely versatile DB that can play cornerback, safety, or outside linebacker. I prioritize my education and it translates to my football IQ, allowing me to have a high learning capacity. I will make a significant impact on whatever program I end up playing for.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My ability to tackle and play pass coverage.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
I have been working on my footwork, getting out of my breaks quicker, different man techniques, strength, and speed.
What would you like to major in for college?
Business or economics
