Tyler Michelini Lake Park DE/ATH Class of 2023 6'3 225
Tyler Michelini how was your junior season? I improved as a DE and had the opportunity to play fullback. I enjoyed having the experiences on both sides of the ball. I also got to see some great competition week in and week out. Even though the season didn’t go as we wanted it to, I had a great time playing the game I love. I am also doing shot put and discus in track which is just going to make me stronger and faster for next season. What schools have you talked to so far? I have talked to University of South Dakota, Valpo, North Dakota State University, Minnesota State University, Drake, University of Minnesota Duluth, and Bucknell. What should college coaches know about you? They should know that I am a very hard worker, and I am very coachable player. I have also been a leader on my team for the past 2 years and am a multi-sport athlete doing track during the winter and spring. I have great grades with a 4.89 out of 5 GPA. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? I think my strongest trait on the football field is just wanting it more than the guy on the other side of the ball from me How does Lake Park look for the upcoming season? We are looking for a new Coach right now actually but we have some good talent coming back from last year so I’m really excited for the next season. What goals do you have for yourself this upcoming season? I want to have a minimum of 20 TFLS and at least 8 sacks. I also want to keep myself accountable to not take a single play or rep off and not take anything for granted because this is my last time playing high school football.
