So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams. Every Football Player Has A Story To Tell
Josh Holst how has your season been so far?As a team it’s been better and better each week. Individually I feel like I’ve done my job and done it well. That’s only because of my line, and receivers making great plays and catches. I have high standards and goals when playing, and I feel like each week I’ve gotten better and grew with my team. Overall I’ve had a good season with all my teammates success as the cause. What does football mean to you?Football is my life, and everything I’ve worked for and will continue to work for is football. I need the game. It’s obviously fun to be apart and play, but it gives us as humans life lessons and it disciplines me. Football pushes me to be better as a player and human, which is why I’ll always love the game. What has been your favorite memory so far this season?I would have to say winning on senior night and playing our last home game together. What should college coaches know about you? That I’m coachable and will do anything for their program to win football games. I’ll outwork anyone and outsmart anyone. I’m very competitive and super passionate about the game. What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field? My ability to extend the play, and find the open guy or run the ball to get some yards. Also my athleticism.
