Immanuel Hall how was your junior season?
It could’ve gone better. I was injured for pretty much the whole season, but I took what I was given and grinded on scout team.
What does football mean to you?
Football isn’t just a sport, it’s much more that I can’t even explain you just have to be a part of it. The feeling in your stomach after you lost a game that your team gave everything for. Then there’s when you beat a team and let your backups play hard as you cheer them on. It’s the little moments at practice, that turn into the big moments on the field. It’s that burning passion in the off-season that keeps you focused year-round. It’s the slim chance you might make it to the league, but you still try because football taught you not to back down from any challenge. Football is a way of life to me.
What should college coaches know about you?
I’m not just a good player, I’m a leader. I’m the guy pushing everyone in the weight room for an extra rep. I can make plays in clutch situations. The last thing is that I show everyone respect.
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
My field vision for sure and agility is a close second.
What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?
My strength more than anything but speed is right behind that.
How does Barrington look for the upcoming season?
I would say nobody will see this team coming. We’re a young team coming in with most of our former lineups being seniors. We’ve all been putting in the work and there’s a lot of competition for the open stops in the upcoming year. We’re going to shock everyone
What goals do you have for yourself this season? My first goal is to be in the best shape of my life for this upcoming season. Second, is to be more of an asset to my team, meaning play offense, some defense and special teams. Lastly, I want to get some offers so I can play ball at the next level.
