Connor Bartesch Crystal Lake Central WR Class of 2021 6'3 185
My 2019 season was a great experience! It was my first season playing football and I loved it. I had two senior receivers last year who really helped me throughout the journey of my first season and taught me a lot about the game.
What made you want to try football?
Honestly after watching the 2018-2019 Bears season I knew I wanted to play. It just looked like a lot of fun out there and I ended up enjoying it
What do you feel is your strongest trait on the football field?
I feel my strongest trait is catching and reacting to the ball. I have no problem going up and high pointing when I need to, I also have soft hands that allow me to reel in any ball that comes my way.
How does Crystal Lake Central look for 2020?
I think we will have a successful team this year. Last year our senior class was amazing and they really brought us all together. This year it’s our job as seniors to carry that on, I believe we have the group of guys to do that again and create something special.
What is your favorite route to run?
I like the fade because it allows me to use my physical attributes to my advantage. And I outsize most corners so I can use my length to my advantage.
