COACH BIG PETE: Carson Crouch welcome back... How was your 2019 season?
CARSON: Hello coach, It’s nice to be back! My 2019 season didn’t end the way we hoped as a team, only winning 3 games the whole year. Individually though I finished just a couple yards shy of 1300 rushing yards with 16 rushing touchdowns and a few receiving. I also earned all area and first team all conference leading the conference in rushing yards
What was one of your favorite memories of the 2019 season?
It wasn’t one of the best years we have had so there weren’t too many things that made it memorable. Besides receiving those individual awards the best memory was probably playing with my best friend on his senior night.
What are your plans for spring/summer?
Well this spring our school let athletes play more than 1 seasonal sport so I’ve been running track and playing baseball. I’ve also been playing for the elite 7v7 program Midwest Boom
How does Dwight look for 2020?
We look just as good as our competition. It’ll take a lot of hard work this summer but I truly do think we can win our conference
Who on Dwight should I keep an eye out for in 2020?
You should definitely keep your eyes on our upcoming junior linebacker. Samuel Edwards led our whole team in tackles as a sophomore! He’s an absolute dawg
