John Gagliano Class of 2021 LB Cary-Grove 6'1 220
John Gagliano how was your 2019 season?
Despite not reaching our goal of winning at state championship I still think we had a great year. I accelerated as a player since I was around so many great coaches and other teammates who pushed me everyday. We battled through a lot of adversity and lots of challenges and I can’t wait to get back at it for my senior season.
In what way do you think you grew in your Junior season?
I think I grew physically since I got a lot stronger from hard work in the weight room, I also put on 30 pounds since my sophomore season but I was faster with all of the weight. My football IQ also grew since I’ve been understanding other teams schemes and tendency’s.
What should college coaches know about you?
I think they should know that if they recruit me that they will get a hard working kid who will continue to grow as a player.
What schools have you talked to so far?
The two biggest schools I’ve talked to is Western Michigan and Toledo Ohio
What are your plans in the winter?
I plan to lose body fat while also putting on muscle and also getting in better shape so I can put my self in the best position to play on both sides of the ball
Favorite memory from last season was?
My favorite memory from last season was our first playoff against St Ignatious . My dad passed away the Wednesday before the game. That game I saw the whole community rally around me and gave me tons of support. I played one of my best games that Saturday for my dad and we had a great team win.
