So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for lllinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Matthew Moran Loyola Academy Class of 2021 WR 6'0 180

Matthew Moran how was your 2018 season?

Our sophomore team had an outstanding year last season as we went 8-1. After that, I joined our varsity team for the playoffs where we won the 8A championship. Although I was injured for half the season, I only caught a few passes and got the opportunity to return kickoffs.

What is the best advice you gotten from your brother?

He always stresses the idea of perseverance and a “never quit” attitude. He also encourages me to be confident on the field for every single play.

What should college coaches know about you?

I always put my team before myself. Since I have been playing for 10 years, I think I possess a high football IQ. I know I’ll continue to develop physically to be able to compete at any collegiate level. I just love the game!

What does your summer college camp schedule look like?

As of now, just Northwestern.

What part of your game have you been working on in the offseason?

I’ve been working on my speed and getting stronger in the weight room. Also, I’ve been competing with my Top Gun 7v7 team in tournaments since January.

What goal do you have for yourself this season?

1) Help our team win another state championship. 2) have absolutely no drops in games and practices. 3) improve my route running to perfection. 4) improve my my flat out speed.

Remember Deep Dish Football Is Just Not About Recruiting But About The Love Of The Game Of Football In The IHSA
