So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams.
Lafabian Fain Chicago Hope Class of 2020 ATH 5'10 180
Lafabian Fain is a multi purpose athlete from Chicago Hope that could emerge in the 2018 season. Have been really impressed with some of the recent players out of Chicago Hope Academy especially with Ross and Land. Really think this could be a special season for Hope with the talent they have.
Lafabian Fain what schools have you talked to?
I haven’t talk to any yet.
Favorite memory from last season?
Our loss to Central Newman in the playoffs
Why?
Because as I look back the lost made me even more determined and hungrier for that state championship. It’s change my teammates and I mindsets on the goal.
How good can Chicago Hope be this season?
Chicago hope is going to be sensational this year because where all upper class-men now. We have a lot of talent people. Our chemistry is stronger. We got our starting quarterback back. We just can’t be ourselves. We have to stay hungry not cocky. We are going to shock a lot of people this year. In my opinion I see us as the 2A state champions.
What would you like college coaches to know about you?
I would the college coaches to know I’m a student. My motivation is family especially my father because he’s deceased and my grandmother is sick. I’m a harder working player and I motivate the team. I’m also caring and I hate to lose. If they need me to go in at any position I will. If they need a big play I will deliver.
What does Chicago Hope Football mean to you?
Chicago hope Football means God, Respect, Love, Family, Effort, Brotherhood, and hardworking
Game you are looking most forward to this season?
The game I’m looking forward to is the first game of the season vs Mount Carmel at NIU. This is a big game for our entire school. This can put us on the map. This can help out our players with their recruiting. If we want to make a name and statement let’s start with the legendary Mount Carmel. We can show a lot of people what we’re about.
What motivates a Lafabian Fain?
What motivates Lafabian Fain is God, My family, and teammates. I like to be challenge a lot and those people that I just stated really pushes me on the field and off. They help me keep going through the good and bad times. I’m so thankful to have them in my life because if I didn’t have them I don’t know what I will do.
