Jordan Corbett Lincoln Way East RB Class of 2019 5'9 185

COACH BIG PETE'S TAKE

Jordan Corbett is one of my favorite running backs for the Class of 2019 in Illinois. Jordan is a multi purpose back who fights for extra yards and patient on the exchange. When he has a gap open with some daylight he will punish you with his speed.

Jordan Corbett what schools have you been talking to?

Ive recently been talking to most of the state schools EIU, SIU , Illinois State, NIU. Grand Valley State, Western Michigan, Akron are a few more schools interested.

How good can Lincoln Way East backfield be this season?

Our backfield will be a force this year. Definitely one of the best. I feel I bring a different style of play than last years running Ryan Scianna, alot harder to stop. Also having the best player in country Aj Henning taking some carries to give u a break is always good.

Funniest guy on the LWE team?

Probably AJ, We are best friends so i do spend the most time with him but he’s always cracking jokes so he’s the funniest.

What do you think is the biggest misconception about Lincoln Way East is?

That we have more than just ONE stud. This team is filled with extremely talented and hardworking players but we’ll show em that soon

What motivates a Jordan Corbett?

This Chip on my shoulder motivates me. Gettin looked past to guys i know im better is what motivates me.

Favorite memory from last season?

Playing in the state game was definitely my favorite moment. Actually playing in the game is one of the feelings ive ever felt and I definitely need that feeling one more time

How have you been improving yourself in the offseason?

Ive been working with my trainer/Coach Mike Mireles at HPF and he’s gotten me even stronger and better than i was before. Also ive been trying to increase my break away speed a bit more.
