Talking With Marian Central Catholic's Thor Paglialong OL Class Of 2019


So in a way to better understand the use of Deep Dish Football for Illinois recruits and the whole entire IHSA Football scene. Decided to do player profiles of players who you might not know or you might know , but you should respect them for their roles on their respective teams.

3 sport athlete, with great frame and huge potential upside for the Class of 2019. What is not to like about Thor Paglialong, one of the fastest centers that I have seen who gets of the snap and engages defenders.

Thor Paglialong what schools have you been talking to?

So far I’ve been in contact with Illinois state, Western Michigan, Iowa, and I’m planning on going to Iowa states spring practice next week

As a linemen, How has wrestling helped in your technique in football?

It taught me how to hand fight well and maintain good leverage at all times. It also really helped me with my stamina

What is one thing in your game that you have been trying to improve in the offseason?

My lateral quickness and my overall strength

What does Marian Central Catholic football mean to you?

We are a Blue Collar football team and we refuse to lose. There is an overall toughness that this program has.

What is one thing you want college coaches to know about you?

I’m a hard worker and refuse to quit.

Favorite memory from last season?

When we upset Notre Dame at home to keep our playoff chances alive.

Who are some players on your team that college coaches should look at?

Danny Dusik, Charlie Kramer, Bryce Radcliffe, and Jayden Thiergood

What is one goal for you this season?

I want to be the offensive lineman of the year in my conference
