Jimmy Martin IV Class of 2019 Prospect QB 6'2 175
Jimmy Martin is one of the best QBs in the state of Illinois for the Class of 2019. Impressed with Jimmy's mobility an ability to make the throws on the run. One of the better playmaking QBs to read the secondary and make the throw.

What does Prospect football mean to you?
Growing up 6 blocks from Prospect, its been a dream of mine to play in Columbia and Navy on friday nights. Being able to play Quarterback for Prospect Football is a dream come true. I was so lucky as a young kid to watch so many great prospect football teams and my passion for the P during the 2005 state championship run. This program is built on Toughness, Pride, Courage, and Heart. Its safe to say this program means everything to me. Also, my dad was also a prospect football player and wore #10. All conference DE 1986.

One thing I want college coaches to know about me is my resilience and my dependability. I am a very loyal and passionate person
So you have Coach DeBoeuf taking over for Prospect, it early but have you learned anything from Coach DeBoeuf?
I had a brief conversation with him on the phone but I am already thrilled with the decision we made in bringing him in. I can’t wait to start working with him. You can’t argue with his success at Johnsburg and his high powered offense
What was one of your favorite memories from last season?
Winning against Elk Grove 48-0 on our last home game
What is one thing you are trying to improve in your game during the offseason?
I need to be a lot more patient in the pocket and improve my footwork. I am working with Throw It Deep
Toughest defense you have faced last season?
Highland Park, Hersey, BG, Hinsdale South were all really good
What is a goal for you this season?
Win the 7A State Championship. If that is not everyones goal then they have the wrong mindset.
Give me a Prospect player that College Coaches need to take a look at?
Adam Mekky, Michael Shafis, Brian Doherty, Sebastian Swistak, Michael Cima are all guys with loads of potential. Several others as well I just don’t want to give away some sleepers
